Emerald-2013 Pantone Color of the Year!

The color of the year for 2013 is...Emerald!  Each year Pantone forecasts a specific color that will inspire the event, beauty and fashion industries.   We are excited to see the trends that will be influenced by the brilliant shade of Emerald.  Pantone describes the color as "Lively. Radiant. Lush...A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony."  Emerald could be brought into the design with subtle touches, through accessories, such as shoes, ties, clutches and details such as stemware and linens.  For more impact, up-lighting, table decor and flowers can be incorporated.  We are excited to design upcoming events and weddings for brides with this lively, radiant and rich color!

Winter Wedding Inspirations

Tis the Season, Red and Green Wedding Inspiration

Tis the season for winter weddings.  The most symbolic colors of the holiday season are red and green. This color combination can be fun and festive without giving the full holiday effect.  The bold accents of red mixed in with the lush soft green gives off an elegant vibe.  When using these colors together its important to look at your overall vision.  Do you want more red with pops of green or green with a few pops of red.  Either way you choose you are sure to have a bright and cheery show stopping look!

Perfectly Pink

Our bride Lindsey had the best personality and was a delight to assist!  Her vision for her special day was lush pink flowers with shabby chic accents and hints of toile.  The wedding was held at the lovely Swan Point Clubhouse where the ceremony took place by the amazing waterfront backdrop and then the guests moved inside to the ballroom for a "perfectly pink" reception!  We loved helping Lindsey find her gown as well, which was a beautiful lace gown with a fabulous floral and beaded belt...it took the form fitting silhouette to the next level!  Lindsey chose a stunning shade a pink for the bridesmaids dresses by Bari Jay that we made sure the roses matched!  I hope you enjoy the romantic, soft flowers and decor of Lindsey's beautiful wedding!  xoxo~Serendipity

Lavender and Lace Wedding

It was a glorious day for a September wedding by the water.  Amber, the bride, was a pleasure to work with and we were so honored to have them share their special day with us!  Amber was a beautiful bride and chose a lovely wedding gown with lace, beading and champagne accents that fit her style and figure so nicely.  The guys chose to wear grey tuxedos that complemented the lavender accent colors perfectly.  The theme for the wedding design was lavender and lace and we loved helping Amber's vision come to life with the linens, flowers, table numbers, escort cards and other details!  With the milk glass vases, the rustic candelabras, the touch of pearls and the soft, lush flowers...this wedding was a beauty!  Best wishes on your new life together!!  I also want to give a big thank you to Sandi from Sandi Foraci Photography for providing us with these wonderful photos!  xoxo, Serendipity!
