Happy New Year!

This year has been nothing short of serendipitous! We are so thankful to all the many brides who trusted us to plan and design their weddings, it is such a privilege to fluff the train of the bride as she prepares to walk down the aisle to her future. We are also very grateful to the brides who allowed us to assist in the purchase of their wedding gowns. It is truly a special moment when a bride stands on the pedestal, looks at her reflection in the mirror and knows she has found "the dress!"

We are so thankful for this past year and the wonderful response we have received from our community and beyond. We have had the pleasure of helping mothers find a dress for their son's or daughter's wedding, dressing the groom, groomsmen and bridesmaids. It has been wonderful to share in such sacred moments with the bride, groom, and their families. We look forward to the new brides we will meet this year and all the wonderful families and moments we will experience in 2011!

Blessings to you all!

Winter Wedding Inspiration

I have always thought a winter wedding would be absolutely fabulous...or really just a wedding at all! There is something so exciting and magical about winter. There is energy in the air. With winter brings thoughts of happiness, family, celebrations, and the warmth of friendships. A wedding evokes those same thoughts of excitement and magic. As a hopeless romantic, I love the idea of a wedding during a time of year when people are so happy and it seems like love is all around us! Not to mention, the possibility of snow on your wedding day...another of my favorite things!

In my family, everyone always calls or texts me when the first snowflake falls because they know how happy it makes me. A snowflake, just like love is one of God's most fragile creations. No two snowflakes are the same, they are each unique. Similarly, every relationship is unique and matchless. It is a coming together of two people with totally separate stories to begin a story together based on a commitment to love, honor and cherish. Personally, I couldn't think of a better Christmas present than...a wedding! Hope you enjoy this inspiration board of fashions from a few of our designers that would be beautiful for that winter wedding!

Better Bar Tips!

At any event or party, a lot of socializing happens at the bar. Here are some useful tips to help you create a great bar area for you and your guests to enjoy!

Add a personal touch to your bar service!
· Add personalized
drink stirrers or a specialty garnish to every drink!
· Provide personalized beverage napkins
· Serve your favorite wine, beer, and mixed drinks in
personalized cups that act as wedding favors
· Create signature backdrops or décor to jazz up the bar like this couple did!
· Provide the bartenders with a tie or accessories that coordinate with your colors!

Tip #1: If your going to have a heavy drinking crowd, think about providing transportation for your guests to and from their accommodations. This helps keep your guests safe from driving under the influence as well as keeping you worry free!

Tip #2: When sitting down with your caterer, make sure to look over the list of brands being used at your event. If there are certain brands you prefer to be serve, make the specification but keep in mind that the cost can greatly increase if using top shelf alcohol. And always make sure they follow your requests during your event, you deserve to get what you pay for!

Tip #3: Don’t be afraid to accept a friends’ help for event resources. On several occasions, a friend of the bride or groom has offered to handle the bar services for their event as a wedding gift. This is a great way to save money if you’re on a tight budget.
